long weekend

Sorry about the lack of updates this past weekend slash beginning of the week! Alex and I have been out of town for a friend's wedding, and I'm still recuperating! Sleeping in well deserved. And since Wednesday July 1st marks our 6th anniversary (I know, barf) we decided to make a little weekend trip of it! The actual wedding was held in Ely, MN and the reception at the Giants Ridge Lodge and Ski Resort. It was awesome, delicious food, lots of dancing, and lots of Alex catching up with his college buddies (aw). Then the next morning we stopped for the day in Duluth and did some antiquing, walking along the boardwalk and having mexican fooood for lunch, yummyyy! Here are some highlights of the trip: GIANT BEEF JERKY, sugar penguins, lots of vintage clothing, views of the lake and beer.
