Okay, the big news in case any of you out there didnt know already, is that Alex and I are engaged. How awesome! Alex is the sweetest person, and knows me all too well. He wanted to find a photo booth to propose to me in while we were in San Francisco, because he knows I LOVE THEM, and low and behold I found one and immediately said A PHOTOBOOTH LETS DO ITTTTT. Good one, me! Also, the photos are pretty classic...

Also, the apartment "updates" are going pretty well! We finally got our couch from the Room & Board Outlet and have been doing some little updates in the kitchen and bedroom. I love it so much, I never want to leeeeaaaaave! And because of the awesome location we are in, we've pretty much done more and gone to more places and events already this summer than we did last summer combined! Alli and Alex FTW! Pictures!

I love craigslist. I wish I could buy every cute thing that I find! But our new apartment is smaller than our last, and we ended up getting rid of a LOT of stuff (again, I LOVE craigslist!). But we used all of that cash to go towards our brand new awesome Room & Board couch! Seriously, if there is an outlet near you and you are in the market for a quality long-term piece, you should take a look. ANYWHO, I will post pictures of how our apartment is turning out next. We finally just hung some (we have too much already) art, and it really helps make it feel finished, you know? But of course, there will always be projects!

Here is a peek at all of the things we did in California, on vacation. Despite getting badly burnt (dumb) at Huntington Beach, we had an AMAZING TIME. I know this is way late, and that I've been a super bad blogger... but REALLY, lots has been going on lately and I will expand on all of that later! There are lots more pictures on my Flickr, if anyone is bored. Also, I took a lot of film on our trip, so will hopefully do another post with film pictures soon. Stay tuned people!

Dont you wish you lived in California all the time?!? I do.

I know I know, its been so long. We are finally back from vacation, burnt to bits, all moved in to the new apartment, and are slowly working on all of the little details. I also have some additional big news BUT FOR NOW, I had to plug this weekend's art sale that Emma and I and Hello Ladies Vintage will be participating in! This is all very exciting because it is the very first time Emma and I are participating in a live sale of Hello Ladies products, outside of Etsy! Movin on up!

If you are in the Twin Cities' area, I highly recommend it! Art, Vintage, letterpress, h'ors d'ouerves, and fun. Come on out and support us! Anyways, lots to do here at work as well, so I will leave you with his write up by one of our lovely sponsors of the event, the Sucka Free Art Sale, l'etoile magazine! Hope to see you all there!
