I was just going about my business this evening, browsing some new blogs, when I came upon this one by mariell. I am very much in the Christmas spirit lately, and have been feeling nostalgic. So has mariell. So I was inspired to tag myself and do a similar post that she called "a picture of you" in photographs. It was kind of sweet and made me want to look through old photos of mine, too. This is what I came up with...

a picture of you in one of your favorite outfits:
(I wish the weather was warm enough to wear this dress right now!)

a picture that describes the way you'd like to spend everyday:

a picture of you with someone you love:

a picture of you when you were anything but happy:
(my mom and i in mexico last year - i had a MONDOR HEADACHE)

a picture of you making a goofy face at the camera:
(when do i not do that..?)

a picture that makes your heart smile:
(how do you pick just one?!?)

a picture of a time when everything was changing:
(this and the previous picture c/o emma, not me)

a night that you regret:
(even though it was fun)

a picture of a time in your life that's over, and you really really miss:
(i changed this one around a bit, i think its much nicer and kind of a good ending point)

It was really nice to go through a bunch of old pictures, actually! I recommend everyone out there doing this one, if even just for yourself, if you have at least an hour to dig... I wont tag anyone formally.

(happy holidays)

Man, time must be flying by! I havent posted here on dotluv for over a week, and it doesnt feel like that long at all! Well, I wanted to quickly thank a couple of ladies for featuring us on their blogs recently!!

This first one isnt very recent, but the always generous Eyeliah at did a little post about holiday dresses, with a gold and black chiffon dress from the Hello Ladies Shop in it! Now, I really love this dress and wished that it was in my size (how many pieces do I pine over realllyyyy), and thanks to Eyeliah the dress sold that very same day!

And then the other day, I got a lovely email from Jessica at Lola Vintage about a post she did about plaid wool dresses, including one from the Hello Ladies Shop! Well how nice... OH ALSO it looks like she's got a great etsy going. Thanks, Jessica!

Alex and I finally got around to framing and putting up some new artwork around the house this weekend. These particular pieces are my spoils from the MCAD Art Sale! The two small drawings are by Anna Bongiovanni, and the sad file print is by Aaron Deyoe. SO CUTE, RIGHT?!? I also bought some little felt magnets that are shaped like sandwiches with little bitty faces on them! SANDWICHES!

I am sure I will have some additional house things to post soon, as we have collected a lot of artwork, and I am also thinking of printing one of my photographs for over the bed. What about you guys, are you on Show Your House group on Flickr? I am loving it, especially recently with everyone showing their Holiday decorations (we have to do that too)! Check it out.
