I know I just mentioned this in the last post, but I had to take a picture of the package I sent in the mail yesterday to Rhiannon at the Liebemarlene! The cotton ribbon I found at PaperSource was a perfect match for Hello Ladies, and it was on sale!! I definitely need to go back and get the whole spool.

My outfits keep getting more and more casual these last few days, I've noticed. And even though i feel like ive been getting more used to getting up at the same early-work-time everyday, i am having a harder time this week for some reason, maybe because its been getting a lot chillier in the mornings. And today it has been raining!! i just cannot get out of bed early enough it seems...

However, I got a lovely surprise in our Hello Ladies Vintage inbox this morning! Rhiannon from The Liebemarlene, purchased one of our new Back to School dresses on Etsy! I've been a fan of her blog for a long time, and I know Emma has been too, so I am very excited to send her a package in GA! I also think I should take a cue from her and begin the process of dressing up again. I have so many dresses that I have been neglecting to wear, and she makes you want to wear them!

This is what I wore yesterday, and today I am wearing basically the same outfit, with the same slouchy jeans and a version of the top half.

Its back to school time here at Hello Ladies Vintage, and man is it long overdue! Emma and I have really been saving up some great things for you to peruse this time around, so go take a look!

Today I have a meeting with Alisun and Ashlee from Abracadabra Vintage! They first purchased some things from Hello Ladies, and Emma and I realized that they were also based in Minneapolis! How cool, two vintage duos selling their wares on Etsy!

Gotta run, but check out their shop if you get a chance, they've got some cute stuff. Maybe someday we'll have a vintage ladies conference here in the Twin Cities ala the Weardrobe blogger conference held in New York recently!

PS: Im going to miss this sweater something awful! I am glad its going to a good home.

The Ivey Awards were last night!!! I cant believe I almost wasnt going to go. I had so so much fun with some of my favorite CTC people at Solera beforehand, the awards ceremony at the State Theater, and at the afterparty next door!

I never went to the beach 'that one last time!' These photographs from yosigo!!! on Flickr are seriously making me feel regretful. They are so beautiful. Take a look!

I wore this dress yesterday and realized the number of brown dresses I've been acquiring over the summer months and storing up for fall. I may need to slim it down a little, but I do see myself just wearing dresses all fall and winter, with layers of leggings and boots underneath. Its a toss up (they're all so good!!!). Anywho, watch out for one or more to show up in the shop!

This little number was finally purchased from the store the other day. We've had it for quite some time, and I think I am going to miss it (even though it was far to big for me to wear myself!)
