Now that the holidays are finally rolling around, I have been asked by some (boyf and rents) what I want for xmas. And honestly... I dont know! I sat down to write a list (because if I dont write a list I know I wont remember them) and I couldnt hardly think of anything! Of course, after a few days of letting that simmer, I came up with a few things.

Now, in the fashion of some of my favorite blogs (Mademoiselle Robot, Sally Jane Vintage, The Vintage Society), I thought I would convey my list to you this way...

Instant wish-list!

From top-left, clockwise:
moolah for framing (I am scheduled to be in a show in January and I cannot afford framing!), gift cards to H&M and Target (always useful), a long cardigan such as this one from Urban, a subscription to the NYT Sunday Edition (I had it for a class senior year, got rid of it and now I miss it so much!), maroon tights (these ones are "nifty" brand!), some incarnation of black knee-high boots (it's winter-time, I'm allowed), Jon & Kate plus Eight seasons one and two (a cable tv show I have become obsessed with), and last but not least the SATC dvd set (which I also miss now that I dont live with Katie anymore!! boo!)

Awesome checklist... CHECK.

I have been very busy lately, blogging in four places (sorry shambot, you've been the one suffering)! But it has been super-fun taking street fashion pictures, let me tell you. I just love the feeling of silly-excited-ness I get when I'm photographed for someone liking my outfit, and so it was fun doing that to other people this time around! It was almost as good. Below is Sarah, an artist in the Soap Factory show "Minimal/Manimal" that opened last weekend.

See my Guest Posts at The Minneapoline while they are still on the main page!

Besides blogging though, a lot has been happening in other areas of life. My job at the theatre was just reduced to part time, as were a lot of other people's jobs, in an effort to reduce budget. It's tough times out there! Luckily, Tom is going to let me usher for awhile, and I already have a couple of jobs that I am applying for. So that is actually kind of exciting.

No worries.
my new favorite thingy. a hair bow. i probably like it so much because i can't really do anything with my really short hair outside of headbands... so a bow is a BIG DEAL for me okay?

you can see the hair bow in my recent wardrobe remix pictures.

One of my favorite daily blog-reads, Mademoiselle Robot, made a post about the essential articles of clothing that every girl should have. It was a good post, but even better because she used one of my wardrobe remix pictures as an example! Yay!

It was posted in mid-October, and I can't believe I didn't notice it until today!

This is my new favorite hat. Thank you, Mall of Saint Paul!

Although he turned out more of an interpretation-of-johannes-brahms-pumpkin, I still think he looks like the GHOST of Johannes Brahms, come back to haunt us with his beautiful music... and I'm okay with that.

Also, we got about 28 trick-or-treaters last night! Success! And only one teenage-dude-with-no-costume mooching for candy! I think we did well.
