In other news, I am going to be in an upcoming group show at Intermedia Arts! It is called "Art and Healing: Body Burden," and it opens in December. I will keep y'all updated.
Possibly the most exciting for me right now though, is the fact that I have decided to be June Carter Cash for Halloween! She is such an awesome 60's lady and I have just the dress for it! LOOK at this COAT:

Although, I have been having some difficulty finding a wig anything like what her hair looks like... hm.

St. Paul, Minn. — Minnesota Public Radio's long-running Morning Show is coming to an end.

The program has been hosted by Dale Connelly and Jim Ed Poole on MPR's classical music service for 25 years. It is currently heard on the Current in the Twin Cities.
The decision to wrap up the show comes as a result of co-host Jim Ed Poole's desire to retire at the end of the year.
Jim Ed Poole was the name Garrison Keillor used to refer to his board operator Tom Keith when Keillor did the morning program in the early days of MPR.
Keith kept the name when he and Dale Connelly took over the show.
Connelly and Poole told listeners the news this morning.
Connelly will develop new programming for Minnesota Public Radio, and Tom Keith, Poole's creator, will continue his work as an actor and sound effects artist on American Public Media's Prairie Home Companion show.
The Morning Show will be replaced by classical music on MPR's classical music service. On the Current, the station's music programming will expand to fill the morning hours.
The final morning show will be broadcast live from the Fitzgerald Theater on December 11.

I've been looking for a pair of leggings for awhile (I know, Katie's going to kill me) that are long enough and comfortable enough, just so that I could wear this flannel shirt as a dress. Woohoo!
flannel top is vintage, from everyday people
belt is madonna for H&M
leggings from Urban
patent gray flats by Steve Madden

I entered this silly contest on weardrobe.com like almost a million times. (Yes, I know. I am a nerd.) Also, they have a different contest every week so I guess I will probably do that from now on. But at least there are prizes (so I'm feelin good about it).

But finally, I have found a new pair that I like, and can get rid of the old tennies! Oh peachy-pink Keds, I am in love with you. And they were only .50 cents at a garage sale! The old tennies are in the garbage. Triumph.

Yay! Time for the annual Black and White Artists' Ball at MCAD! Well, actually, it's not at MCAD, it's at the lovely Theatre de la Jeune Lune in the warehouse district. SO COOL. It is even cooler now that it has shut down and that we will be probably the last event that they will have in the space! So sad too! Even though I am not a student, I am going. It is always so fun.
Dress from savers (i think it was home-made?)
I actually found both the bracelet and bow-brooch. hm.
bronze pumps from DSW. LOVE THEM (let's see how long I last in them).
